Research Internship Program
A 6-month intensive research engagement for ambitious students. Work directly on production codebases, formal research benchmarks, and hardware simulations alongside the Swadeshi AI core engineering group.
PROGRAM SPECIFICATIONS
Practical Project Work. No Coursework.
We believe true research excellence comes from building and breaking real systems. Interns are paired directly with active projects in Agentic AI, Model Context Protocol, Defensive Cybersecurity, and Analog Chip Design.

RESEARCH TRACKS
01. AI Agents & Tool Runtimes
Building deterministic task planners, memory caches, and multi-agent coordination runtimes.
02. AI/ML Engineering & Evaluation
Evaluating LLM behavior boundaries, automated reasoning benchmarks, and context retention.
03. Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Authoring open-source MCP adapters connecting reasoning models to developer tools and databases.
04. Defensive Cybersecurity
Conducting authorized attack surface mapping, protocol anomaly inspection, and perimeter auditing.
05. Semiconductor / Analog Chip Design
Transistor-level SPICE simulations, continuous-time signal flow, and open-source EDA modeling.
ELIGIBILITY & STRUCTURE
Who We Seek
- Undergraduate or graduate students in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
- Proficiency in at least one systems language (Python, C/C++, Rust, TypeScript, or Verilog/VHDL).
- Demonstrated bias for building: GitHub repositories, open-source pull requests, or physical hardware projects.
- Commitment to 6 months of active engagement (hybrid format accommodates academic schedules).
